The beginning of the school year started off normal for 20-year-old Michigan State University advertising management junior Liam Clegg, living in his apartment in East Lansing and attending classes. This all changed in October when he was diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease. Through the power of social media and community, Liam returned home last weekend from a successful kidney transplant and looks forward to returning to MSU in the fall.
