FIRE CREW: Dalton Hotshots The daltonhotshots station is located at the meeting point of Little and Big Dalton Canyons in California. The Dalton Hotshot Crew was established in September 1953 and has been using MYSTERY RANCH backpacks since 2008. Throughout Dalton's long and proud history, a unique quality has been passed down from one crew to the next. It's a tradition of self-respect, honesty, and always striving to do their best. This is the most cherished part of Dalton's history, and it's the leaders who have guided the way that have kept this important tradition alive.
