Today, Trey learned something about me. When I’m ready to unleash some chaos, I try to balance it out by doing something good. Sometimes, the best way to calm myself is to put a little good back into the world. Saw some Indian girls slanging Girl Scout cookies at Publix, so I asked for all the Trefoils they had. Pulled out my wad of cash—looking like an 80s dope boy —and paid them. They were so hyped, they even took a pic with me and Trey. Trey looked up at me and said, “Dad, you really do nice things for people when you’re mad!” It calms me down. I don’t know what’s next after this life, but while I’m here, I’m gonna try to do more good than bad.
