Meet Claire Cisowski, a 2025 #OpticaAmbassador! Claire is an early-career Leverhulme Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow. She operates at the intersection of pure mathematics and applied optics, with her current research focusing on geometric phases and unique topological textures of light. As a volunteer, Claire is dedicated to fostering global collaborations. She organized the first Brazil-Scotland meeting on structured light to connect students from both countries. Additionally, she is active in the Women in Physics network at the University of Glasgow and serves as a reviewer for the Optica Women Scholars program.
