This week, the fsucareercenter hosted the Careers in Public Service conference. This forum presented the perfect opportunity for our students to connect with leaders in the public sector and discover the available career paths in the field. Twenty-three distinguished Florida State University alumni panelists were invited to provide their industry insights into career opportunities and share best practices in securing internships and post-graduate opportunities within public service. We were joined by distinguished alumni speakers Whitney Ray, State Director for US Senator Ashley Moody, and Daniel Perez, Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives. Discussions were led by other esteemed FSU alumni throughout the duration of the conference. This event would not be possible without the collaborative efforts from our dynamic campus partners and the planning committee, who served as moderators for the sessions.
