Meet our very special hero, hutchtherescuedog 💙🐾 “In October 2023, he was found dumped on the side of the road inside a box in Detroit with his 4 other siblings at only 8 weeks old. The rescue we volunteer for picked them up to get them medical attention as they were very sick and emaciated. Come to find out he was completely blind and diagnosed with Hydrocephalus (fluid on the brain). The prognosis for a puppy with hydrocephalus is usually not good, if they make it to 6 months you are very lucky. We started fostering him immediately as he needed around the clock care. They noticed some neurological deficits along with his blindness, but we were hoping he could beat the odds stacked against him. At this point we decided he needed a strong name, a name that showed resilience, perseverance, and GRIT.
