#AloeBlacc, at the ‘#FollowingHarry’ screening hosted by the #BlackMusicActionCoalition, Julien’s Auction, and #TurnerClassicMovies, emphasized the role of artists in social change. Speaking on the panel after the screening, with prophet5050, Chuck D, Susan Rostock (Director of Following Harry) and Carmen Perez (CEO of Gathering For Justice) AloeBlacc stated, that artists are the  translators for our communities, and it’s necessary that they understand the power of their voices. He also spoke on how crucial it is to hold record labels accountable and ensure they do not solely promote music that harms the very communities that embrace it.
