With the heartbreaking news from Israel this week, it has been a difficult time for our TanenbaumCHAT community. We join Jews around the world in mourning and all those affected by terror. Before we sign off for Shabbat, we want to share two “anchors of hope,” inspired by a talk Rabbi Leor Sinai (sinaitozion) gave at TanenbaumCHAT last November. Freed hostage Sapir Cohen spoke to our school in September about her hope of reuniting one day with her partner, Sasha Troufanov. Last week, after 498 days in captivity, Sasha was finally reunited with Sapir. Our second “anchor of hope” is our students. This week, they launched the Ribbons for Release initiative, demonstrating their unwavering dedication and support for the hostages still awaiting freedom.🎗️ Wishing our community a meaningful and peaceful Shabbat. #ShabbatShalom #FindYourself #StandingWithIsrael #tanenbaumchat
