Begüm currently works in quantum noise reduction for gravitational-wave detectors, applying her expertise in experimental physics and electrical engineering to solve complex challenges through collaborative approaches. She is dedicated to mentoring, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and creating equitable opportunities in STEM.
