Dear Hokie Nation 📝 Both the Virginia Tech Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey teams would like to thank all our fans, coaches, and fellow staff members who made this season one NEVER to forget. It was a historic year that saw the men’s team set collective and individual records, participating in the program’s first-ever outdoor game in Charlotte, winning 6-0, clinching the ACCHL Carolina Division, making it to the league’s championship game, and finally traveling to regionals for the first time in five years. The women’s team too saw success with both the ACCHL Defensive Player of the Year and Scholar Athlete of the Year award winners, steamrolling through the ACCHL Playoff tournament to the championship game. While both teams finished just short of our goals, we would like to extend our thanks to everyone who made all of this happen.
