Urban public transportation is amidst a profound technological transformation—with teams rolling out everything from trip-planning apps to autonomous trains. And that’s helping make it more efficient, accessible and sustainable, says Graham Currie, director of the Public Transport Research Group in Melbourne.⁠ ⁠ Yet exploring new tech isn’t about racking up first-mover status.
