Seminal director David Lynch - who took Saturday classes at the Corcoran in the early 60s - has passsed away at the age of seventy-eight. A towering figure in the world of cinema, he created the noirish ABC television series “Twin Peaks” as well as wrote and directed films “Blue Velvet” and “Mulholland Drive.” His contributions to the art world will be missed.
