To our very own lovers, Corcoran celebrates alumnus Nakeya Brown (M.F.A ’17) and Larry Cook (M.F.A. '12) in their featured Elephant’s article, “The Lovers: A Conversation With Larry Cook and Nakeya Brown.” The new series by Elephant seeks to investigate the connection the couples have amongst themselves as well as their own individual practices. In their article specifically, Brown speaks to how their love allows for a greater self expression in her art. Cook, also, echos that sentiment in saying that his creative practice provides him further understanding of the amount of time and space needed for their practices and other roles.
