Congratulations to Allison Robbert (Photojournalism ‘26) @allison.robbert who won “Student Best in Show” at the Women Photojournalists of Washington (wpowdc)’s 17th Annual Photography and Multimedia Exhibition. Her winning entry, shown here, captures a moment that “President Joe Biden pauses to think following a question from the press regarding his son, Hunter Biden, at the White House on November 9, 2024.” The WPOW exhibit features standout photography by WPOW members in 2023 — images created by 25 visual journalists. It is now on view until early spring in the outdoor space between Lost Origins Gallery (@lost_origins_gallery) and Ellē Restaurant in D.C. (@eatatelle) WPOW is a nonprofit dedicated to educating the public about the role of women in visual journalism and fostering their professional success. @corcstudioarts @gwucolumbian @gwunppa @gwuniversity wpowdc
