Here is a close-up of just some of the photos displayed now in “Studio and Location Lighting: A Look Back,” in the Corcoran’s atrium. Feel free to tag yourself and your friends if you were featured in some of the photos!  ICYMI: For over ten years, Benjamin Tankersly instructed and inspired students in the photography program. Tankersly’s class portraits began in the studio in 2013, with an emphasis on clean, tight, and traditional portrait photography. Then, in the following decade, Studio and Location Lighting class portraits leaned into playful and adventurous techniques and themes, eventually establishing a tradition of incredibly artistic, humorous, and well-lit photographs. While the images range from parodies of famous paintings to representations of current world affairs, the photos are always grounded in, and highlight the unique location, architecture, and history of the Flagg building and its powerful neighbors.   @benjaminctankersley, @corcstudioarts, @gwucolumbian Loca...
