The Chicago American Giants played in the Nergo Leagues from 1910-1956, making them the longest-running teams in black baseball history. Over 46 years in the league, the team won 6 League titles and 2 Negro Worlds Series Championships. During the clubs time in Chicago they played in two stadiums, but were relocated for a year to Indianapolis while their first stadium was being re-purposed. In 1941, the American Giants moved to Comiskey Park and would play while the White Sox were on the road.
