Here at Awanita, we are blessed with beautiful hiking trails, some long and others short. What I caught on camera doesn’t even begin to show all the incredible spots waiting to be discovered. During my recent hike, God showed me something special—sound. In the quiet moments, when no one is around, life is still happening. Birds chirp, conversing with one another, squirrels run and play, leaves rustle in the breeze, and water rushes over rocks. These sounds, though filled with energy, bring me a sense of peace and rest as I witness God’s creation all around me. The next time you visit Awanita, I encourage you to take a walk and ask God to reveal something to you. It could be something in nature—like the way the sunlight filters through the trees—or it could be something about yourself, a lesson He wants you to learn.
