Today marks #Juneteenth, the day when the Emancipation Proclamation finally reached enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas 159 years ago. Bay Area artist @jackfacekillah pays homage to the occasion with her design of the #BayFC Juneteenth Pennant. The first 5000 Fans attending #BAYvLA this Saturday will receive a free pennant, courtesy of @sutterhealth. We hope you’ll join us in recognizing Juneteenth and celebrating African American heritage as we take on @weareangelcity at @paypalpark!
