Last night was the second time a Freier twin made their senior debut for the Matildas 😳 Laini Freier has an impressive story. She spent her youth playing football alongside her twin sister Sharn in Queensland. In 2021 she tore her ACL. After making her recovery, she was playing semi-pro football for Brisbane City. Three months ago she got her chance at pro football and has since become a regular for Brisbane Roar, scoring 7 goals in 11 games 🔥 She then received a senior call-up and made her debut for Australia last night in a 2-1 loss to the USA in the She Believes Cup, becoming cap #236 👏 What a story, and we can’t wait to see her play internationally with her twin sister, Sharn 🤩🙌
