NBC's Lester Holt is ending his run as anchor of Nightly News, the flagship show he has hosted for a decade. Holt, 65, told staff Monday of his plans to depart the signature broadcast this summer. ‘After 10 years, 17 if you include my years on the weekends, the time has come for me to step away from my role as anchor of Nightly News,’ Holt wrote in a note obtained by The Times.
