It has been an insane 4 to 5 week stretch for me. But in the best way! I’m coming off of a break, and I am starting the tail end stretch of the racing season. Which in my case happens to be mostly endurance racing and I love a long race. But during my break, I took some time to think about how my last few weeks, and then I also reflected on the wonderful opportunity to share the motorsport world with my family at Barber motorsport Park for @gtworldchallengeamerica. I didn’t realize how much seeing my wife, kids and my parents, explore the paddock and see firsthand what I do would be such a special thing for me. I’m often on the road which can feel kind of lonely at times, even though I’m surrounded by many of my close friends and colleagues. Then I come home and show my family photos from these far away places and it just doesn’t seem real for them. It’s funny how that works. Things were much much different for me years ago and I’m reminded just how special my job is and how blessed...
