There is nothing I can say here that will adequately describe the way earning this medal feels. This is a performance that I will hold close to my heart for the rest of my life. I don’t know how to describe all of the struggles and disappointments I have been through, and the tears that have come with them, but I would go through it all again for this moment. This is more than a victory on the ice for me. It is confirmation that I am stronger and capable of more than I know and the best is yet to come. I’m returning home with so much joy in my heart and I have to give the biggest thank you to benoitrichaud and coach_jeremyallen without whom I couldn’t have done this.
