Early this month, Senior Constable Ellis and Constable Castel lent a helping hand to an elderly couple down at Rosebud Beach.
The pair had drifted 3km out into the bay on an inflatable paddle board. Lucky they were spotted by a local fisherman who helped save the day.
No need for police to take a dip this time, but the couple were thankful and expressed their gratitude to everyone involved in their rescue.
