The women’s team is now at the same pre-professional level as the men’s team. “Our area’s elite women no longer need to drive far or relocate—they can now represent their hometown team at the highest level,” said Chairman Ivaldo Basso. Coaches Nakoneczny and Mkhwanazi played a key role in laying the groundwork for our semi-professional launch by leading a young U23 team to a second-place finish in the 13-team Illinois Women’s Soccer League last season.
