#BlackHistoryMonth Alumni Profile: Andrell Harris is the youngest independent landlord and real estate investor in Burger King's history at 37 years old. A 2008 graduate of Jackson State University, Harris also made history as the youngest sole franchisee of Papa John’s. Through his company, Harris Enterprises, he operates stores in Natchez and Greenville, Mississippi. In 2016, he was recognized as the youngest multi-unit franchisee in Papa John’s history. Harris’ entrepreneurial journey began as a teenager when he repurposed old gumball machines for business locations. Within four years, he launched Harris Vending Services, installing machines in more than 60 locations across seven Mississippi cities. At 24, he invested in a luxury beachfront property in Destin, Florida, acquiring two condos at Majestic Sun. Two years later, he became an accredited investor.
