Venice Avenue (eastbound & westbound) will be closed Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2 for the Venice MainStreet 24th annual Downtown Art Classic, and will reopen around 8 p.m. Sunday, March 2. Expect additional traffic on Tampa and Miami Avenues, and be patient at the Nokomis Ave/W. Venice Ave intersection, where congestion is common. 🛑Harbor Drive/W. Venice Avenue intersection** (near City Hall, Hecksher Park, and the Post Office) will also be closed on Saturday during the Venice Farmers Market. North/southbound traffic on Harbor Drive will reopen around 2 p.m. Saturday. Be patient, stay alert, and watch for pedestrians and bicyclists. Venice Police officers will be on-site for traffic control and safety.
