I was honored to play a small part in the fortworthfwf Trailblazer’s & Legends dinner this past weekend alongside my friends chefjonbonnell, chefjohntesar & luckybeekitchen. The evening honored the visionary co-founders of TX Whiskey, Troy Robertson and Leonard Firestone with the Walter Kaufman Lifetime Achievement Award for their contribution to the world of whiskey and their trailblazing spirit. I’ve looked up to Troy & Leonard for many years, so this was special. A MASSIVE thank you to rosewoodranches for providing incredibly marbled wagyu beef ribs for this dinner. Our beef ribs seasoned with Meat Church Holy Cow, topped with crème fraîche & caviar turned out perfect. The menu was outstanding from top to bottom and it was such an enjoyable evening in Fort Worth at txwhiskey Ranch with friends.
