One of the highlights of this week’s Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW) at TanenbaumCHAT was welcoming back Rachel Lebovic ’19 to speak with our students. Rachel, a first-year PhD student in the Institute of Medical Science at the University of Toronto, is researching suicide prevention and systems-level mental health care. Drawing from her own journey with mental illness, she gave a powerful and insightful talk on what it feels like to be different and how to advocate for one’s own mental health. We’re grateful to Rachel for sharing her story and speaking so passionately about such an important topic. 💙 #FindYourself #TakingCare #TanenbaumCHAT #MentalHealth
