The month of October is Filipino-American History Month. We’ve asked a member of our community, Nicolle Reyes, what this month means to her🤍: “Being Filipino-American means that I am able to make my loved ones proud. I am able to go out of my way and show those who turned me down in the past that, I can and I will. I am so happy that I am able to express myself through my culture and heritage. I have learned so much about my family’s history and I could not be more thankful. Being Filipino-American means that I am able to achieve my goals and make a pathway for myself and my loved ones so that we are able to achieve it together. #pinoyproud ”
