Meet Belki Albarado, a General Service Worker at Carney! Since coming to BC Dining around 2 years ago, she has done everything from working as a cashier to preparing the dining hall for opening. One highlight of her job is getting to make smoothies in the morning! She has also enjoyed working orientations during the summer, as she gets to help welcome new Eagles to campus! When asked what brings her joy, Belki talked about her family and how her mom has greatly impacted her, calling her a “hardworking woman.” She came to the U.S. from Honduras in 2016, and when asked about some of her favorite foods growing up, she mentioned chicken with green plantains and horchata, a sweetened rice and milk drink!
