Four Crusaders will represent CHS Bowling in tomorrow’s New York State Catholic High Schools Athletic Association championships. Thomas Skowron ‘25, Cole Skowron ‘27, Carson Kwiatkowski ‘27 and Angel Lopez Castillo ‘25 all earned the right to compete in the championships as they all had a top 25 set average in New York State. The NYSCHSAA Championship is 9 a.m. Saturday at Classic Lanes in the Town of Tonawanda. Thomas Skowron ‘25 had an average set of 195 which was fifth in the state while younger brother Cole Skowron ‘27 had an average set of 193 which was seventh. Kwiatkowski ‘27 had an average set of 190 (10th in the state) and Lopez Castillo ‘25 had an average set of 177 (24th). This gives CHS Bowling, coached by Michael Kwiatkowski ’99, and a total of 14 state qualifiers over the last three years.
