It was an exciting end to the week with two customers coming by Factory Five this afternoon to pick-up their new projects! Dominic M. from Mashpee, MA came by in his 1987 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat Bigfoot Cruiser along with his pit crew Paul, Anthony, and Danny to help load up a Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe. Dominic plans to build the Coupe with a blueprint_engines 302, 8.8” solid axle rear end, and 3-link suspensions while he figures out other details like wheels and paint. Fran M. drove out from Chicago, IL to Wareham to pick-up a Mk5 Roadster kit! His build plans include a BPE 427, IRS, wilwooddiscbrakes, carbon fiber dash, and diamond stitched seats. He too is thinking about what wheels to use, and while he plans on painting the car red, he’s debating between ruby red, Ford Rapid Red, and several other options.
