Thank y’all for all the prayers and support with my infection! I had a small cut on my thumb from pulling on gator lines and I woke up in the middle of the night with severe pain and swelling. (P.S. That’s why my hand is in a latex glove in the photo) I went to the ER and they gave me antibiotics, but I got back on the gator boat the next morning. Well, I shouldn’t have done that. By the end of the day, my thumb was the size of a golf ball amd had turned purple. The red streaking up my arm had started. I was rushed to a doctor where they made an incision to try to drain it, but nothing came out. They put me on multiple antibiotics. The next day, it started draining. Thankfully, the antibiotics worked and I slowly got better during gator season. I was able to get back on the boat and help Mr. Bruce! The doctor said I was super close to having surgery.
