COMING BACK AGAINST THE COUGARS: The JV-B boys soccer team earned a 1-1 draw against Crockett at House Park last Tuesday. For most of the game the Cougars were leading, but the Knights rallied to tie the game. “They were winning most of the time by one goal,” sophomore Cruz Esquibel explained. “At the end, [freshman] Tiago [Tucker] got the goal that tied up the score,” Esquibel said. Esquibel said he has enjoyed the season even though there have been a few bumps in the road. “This season has been fun, but it’s been a challenge competing,” Esquibel said. “It’s been hard to keep up a good mentality throughout the season.” After suffering a loss at Anderson on Friday night, the JV-B squad hopes to finish its season on a high note when it plays its final game of the season on Monday versus Cedar Creek at 4:45 p.m. at House Park.
