A 17-year-old from Selma died in the wake of a single-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Dallas County. The crash happened around 1:20 p.m. Feb. 28 on Dallas County Route 3. The 17-year-old was seriously injured when the pickup he was driving ran off the road and into several trees. The teen was taken to an area hospital for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries.
