In 2011, Gaia made his mark inside the Wynwood Walls at just 22 years old. Fresh from the Maryland Institute College of Art, he created an unforgettable portrait of Henry Flagler in the Wynwood Doors section.
Since then, his art has journeyed from New York streets to esteemed museums, including the Baltimore Museum of Art, Rice Gallery in Houston, and the Civil and Human Rights Museum in Atlanta. As a Forbes 30 Under 30 artist and Fulbright scholar, gaiastreetart has taken his talents from the urban landscape of NYC to the vibrant streets of New Delhi and Bogotá.
Talk about a kid from the streets making it big - and we were lucky enough to host him at the Wynwood Walls when he was just getting started.
