Second Moon landing in a week, coming right up. ⁣ ⁣ On March 3, IntuitiveMachines’ IM-2 mission successfully entered lunar orbit carrying the next suite of NASA instruments and technology demonstrations one step closer to the Moon. The Intuitive Machines team is targeting their Moon landing no earlier than 12:32 p.m. EST (1732 UTC) on Thursday, March 6. Live coverage will begin at 11:30 a.m. EST (1630 UTC) on NASA+.⁣ ⁣ The Nova-C lunar lander, also known as Athena, is slated to land in Mons Mouton, a lunar plateau near the Moon’s South Pole. The lander is carrying NASA technology that will measure the potential presence of resources from lunar soil that could be extracted and used by future explorers to produce fuel or breathable oxygen.
