Lights, Motors, Action!: Extreme Stunt Show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios was a high-paced, technically rehearsed stunt show designed to demonstrate how a typical action movie car chase scene is filmed. The show was performed at both Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida and Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris. It featured a massive stadium with high-capacity seating but was ultimately removed—along with the Backlot Tour—to make way for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The show’s final performance took place on April 2, 2016, and featured a unique stunt never performed before. Normally, the show ended with the “hero car” jumping through an open door, launching off a ramp, and soaring across the water amidst a fiery explosion.
