Sometimes competition days can feel glamorous and sparkly and oh so exciting...and then there are comp days when you're reblocking what you can & furiously teaching the rest to a last minute sub (bless you laurenm.dance!) in a parking lot during an increasingly cold windstorm. 😳 Our Senior Ultimate team went into the biggest Stage 8 competition of the season bruised, taped, booted, feverish (despite Friday night IV therapy), nauseous & knee deep in empty Kleenex boxes....and did we mention the flat tire? Sometimes when you can't go over, under, or around a challenge, you just have to fight your way through it...coming out on the other side with the knowledge that you can get through things you never imagined, as long as you get to do it together. With fevers hopefully gone, noses back to non-drippy normal, bruises faded, and slightly less athletic tape, we're regrouping, rehydrating, and looking forward to hitting the floor much healthier and definitely better together this Satur...
