My 12-step sleep routine for a 90+ Sleep Score ⬇️
1. Don’t exercise past 2pm
2. Don’t drink caffeine past 12pm
3. Don’t drink alcohol
4. Stop eating around 2 hours before you plan on going to sleep
6. Limit your sugary food intake throughout the day
7. Stop looking at a screen about an hour before bed
8. Read and/or meditate before bed
9. Take magnesium glycinate and GABA
10. Spray your feet with magnesium oil and your pillow with lavender pillow mist
11. Wear an eye mask
12. Use a white noise sound machine
I know this may sound like a lot, but sleep is literally THE most important thing in life. Make it a priority, and you will see the positive mental and physical changes almost immediately.
Females ➡️ It’s also important to note that because of hormones, our sleep may vary depending on what stage of our cycle we’re in (luteal = higher body temps, which means less restful sleep). So always be patient and give yourself grace during this time.
