Assistant to the President Fr. Richard Zanoni, S.J., celebrated our Ash Wednesday Liturgy today for our entire community in Scaccia Auditorium.
He addressed our students about how Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent, a 40-day period of reflection and fasting before Easter, and how they might approach this time.
Students participating in the Mass included: Arno Mbaiyo ’26 (First Reading, from the Book of Joel), Oliver Reynolds ’26 (Responsorial Psalm), and Patrick Cullinan ’27 (Second Reading, from the Second Letter of Paul to the Corinthians), as well as Rondel Fancher ’26 and Anthony Pepe ’26 (Prayers of the Faithful). The crossbearer was Connor Jackson ’26, while the candlebearers were Matt Kreuzer ’26 and Gianni Latella ’26.
