One year ago, chelsea_ea and I drove to Anaconda to pick up a ball of fluff that needed a new home. Just two days earlier nkqualtieri posted “Milo” to her story helping a friend of a friend find him a loving home. Upon walking into his prior home, Fio tackled us out of excitement and we knew he had found his forever home. Having just come back from New Zealand, we had seen the rare Whio blue duck, we liked the name (pronounced Fio) and decided it was a good fit. In the year since, Fio has climbed mountains, taken boat trips and road trips, and mostly terrorized us every morning to get out of bed to play.
