Neff Elon Experiences Scholarship, Monika Jurevicius ’27 was able to embark on an unforgettable journey to southern India during Winter Term! 🇮🇳✨ “I had never planned to go abroad during the school year – let alone to southern India – but thanks to this scholarship I could afford the experience and then put some of my money toward offsetting tuition costs for the next semester,” Monika says. As a double major in journalism and public health studies, Monika saw firsthand how academics connect to the real world. This experience allowed her to explore communities beyond her own, a crucial perspective for both her fields of study. “As a world traveler, I hope other students find opportunities to do the same and understand the world in a different meaning,” says the Palatine, Illinois, native.
