It’s #LostSpecies month! Join Re:wild in celebration of the #SearchforLostSpecies, the largest-ever global effort to find and protect species that have not been documented by scientists for a decade or longer. Since the program’s launch in 2017, Re:wild and partners have confirmed the rediscovery of 13 of the organization’s most wanted lost species. But there are thousands that are still mysteries! This year we’re calling on citizen scientists (like you!) to get involved too! You can get out and look for one of the 4,300 species lost to science. You can also learn more by joining one of this month’s webinars hosted by the IUCN SSC’s Reverse the Red throughout the month to learn more from the people searching for species lost to science—and sharing their amazing stories.
