The Netherlands Women's National team welcomed the US Women's National team to the Ado Den Haag Stadium in what was to be the final game for both teams for the year 2024. Netherlands started the game the stronger of the two teams and scored the first goal through a Veerle Buurman header. USA scored a goal against the run of play to make it 1-1. USA made some changes at halftime and started the second half better than they played in the first. USA took the lead after Gotham FC teammates Yazmeen Ryan and Lynn Williams combined to score a brilliant goal. The game ended 2-1 in favor of USA. The end of the game also signalled the curtain call on Alyssa Naeher's international career. Alyssa Naeher won two world cups, one olympic Gold medal, one olympic bronze medal, one CONCACAF Gold Cup and 7 She Believes Cup trophies.
