A federal judge in California issued a written order last Friday to curb the sweeping firings of probationary federal employees at several government agencies, including three that work directly with public lands and steward America’s fish and wildlife. U.S. District Judge William Alsup issued a written ruling saying that the sweeping firing of federal probationary employees are "illegal" and "must be stopped." As part of his ruling, Alsup has directed the Trump Administration's personnel director to rescind the memos that led to the purge. He also pointed to evidence showing that some high-performing probationary employees , including workers at the Department of the Interior, were wrongly terminated for performance issues. Tap the link in profile for the full story 🔗 #conservation #wildlife #publicland #publiclands #outdoors #nature #habitat #usfws #usfs #outdoorlife 📷: @mypubliclands Story by: @dac.collins
