Before you touch any weight, a proper warm-up is key to a great leg day!
Here’s my go-to lower body dynamic warm-up to get the blood flowing, open up my hips, and activate key muscles:
➡️ Walking lunges down & reverse lunges back – warming up the quads, glutes, and stabilizers
➡️ Hip hinge alternating hamstring stretch – loosening up the hamstrings and improving mobility
➡️ High knees – getting the heart rate up and engaging the hip flexors
➡️ High kick stretch – activating the posterior chain with a contralateral stretch
Take your time with each movement and make sure your body is primed before going heavy! Let’s work.
