“Act like the person you want to become.” This mindset shift has changed so much for me—and I’m still working on it every day.
I used to wait until I felt like the kind of person who was disciplined, confident, and consistent. But I realized that version of me wasn’t just going to show up one day—I had to start making choices as her now. I asked myself:
- What does my best self prioritize?
- How does she handle setbacks?
- What habits does she stick to, even when she doesn’t feel like it?
Identifying those things gave me a roadmap, and the more I acted in alignment with that version of me, the more natural it became. I’m still learning, still evolving, but this shift has been everything.
