President #Trump says the U.S. is “reclaiming” the #PanamaCanal after a group backed by U.S. and Swiss investors, including BlackRock, moved to acquire two key ports on either end of the waterway. But the canal itself is still run by the Panama Canal Authority, an independent Panamanian government agency.
