We recently welcomed a staff member to PreventEd! John Singer joined us in January as the newest addition to our growing CPS team. 🥳 As a Peer Support Specialist, John provides direct support to individuals in the community who may be struggling with substance use or other challenges. His role involves meeting people where they are, offering guidance, and connecting them with resources that can help them on their journey. He also focuses on building relationships with community members and organizations to strengthen support networks and improve access to services. John's favorite thing about working at PreventEd is the strong focus on prevention and education, which helps create lasting change in the community. He also appreciates the support from leadership, who always make sure peer specialists have the tools and guidance they need to be effective in their roles. Please give John a warm welcome! 🤗
